DU CONCEPT AU RENDU FINAL

Formé à la direction artistique et au multimédia à l’ECV, j’ai construit au fil des années une approche très transversale de mon métier. 

De l’écriture au tournage, puis du montage à l’étalonnage, j’aime suivre un film dans sa globalité. Cela me permet de garder une même intention du premier échange jusqu’à l’image finale.

Avant de tourner, je cherche surtout à comprendre. Comprendre une marque, un savoir-faire, une personne, un lieu, une histoire. Trouver ce qu’il y a de juste à raconter, puis réfléchir à la meilleure manière de le traduire en images.

Sur le terrain, je cherche la bonne lumière, le bon cadre et la bonne mise en scène, tout en restant attentif à ce qui peut surgir naturellement pendant le tournage. Pour moi, la forme est importante, mais elle doit toujours servir le fond.

Chaque projet demande une approche différente. Je m’adapte aux besoins, aux contraintes et à l’ambition du film, avec une attention particulière portée au dialogue et à la collaboration.

Mon objectif reste simple : créer des images fortes, mais surtout des films sincères, justes et capables de transmettre une émotion.

Trained in art direction and multimedia at ECV, I have developed a highly versatile approach to my work over the years.

From writing and shooting to editing and color grading, I like to follow a film through every stage of its creation. This allows me to maintain a consistent vision from the very first conversation to the final image.

Before shooting, my priority is to understand. To understand a brand, a craft, a person, a place, a story. To identify what truly matters, then find the most meaningful way to translate it into images.

On set, I look for the right light, the right framing, and the right staging, while staying attentive to what may naturally emerge during the shoot. For me, form matters, but it should always serve the substance.

Every project calls for a different approach. I adapt to the needs, constraints, and ambition of each film, with particular attention to dialogue and collaboration.

My goal remains simple: to create strong images, but above all, sincere and meaningful films that can convey emotion.
